The EMRT demonstration held here in October was very informative, and from the feedback we have received a great success. Thanks to Sophie Vertigan, EMRT Registered Practitioner and her lovely assistant Gloria who will be graduating as a practitioner later in October.

We had a number of spectators asking how they could learn some of the EMRT moves to use on their own horses. Sophie suggested an EMRT First Aid Course which teaches three very useful and basic moves that will help any horse relax in just about any situation.

The EMRT instructor for this area is Sahajo Southey who is based in Scotland in the U.K. She will be in Ontario in May/June of 2010 and if we have enough interested horse owners we should be able to offer a first aid course here at Westbury Farm. We would need 12 participants. If the folks who expressed interest at the demo are still interested and available we would have almost half of the required number of participants.
